1. Who we are

YourAirCon ("we", "us") operates this website, a free quote-matching service and the paid UK Aircon Ready Pack service. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Contact: hello@youraircon.com.

2. What we collect

When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode or ZIP code and information about your property and intended work. When you request an Aircon Ready Pack we also collect room dimensions, property constraints, installation assumptions, notes and, after payment, the room or outdoor-location images you choose to provide. Please do not include people, documents, screens, family photographs or other sensitive information in those images.

Stripe handles payment-card information. We receive payment status, transaction references and limited billing/contact details, but we do not receive or store full card numbers. We also collect basic technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and service operation.

3. How we use your information

We use quote-enquiry details to attempt one requested installer match, confirm the enquiry, follow up and respond to questions. We use Ready Pack information to take payment, calculate an indicative budget, prepare and deliver the personalised pack, handle corrections or refunds and, if you ask, retain your interest for a later installer introduction. We do not use these details for unrelated marketing, sell them to data brokers or add you to third-party mailing lists.

4. Who we share your information with

The installer we match you with. Sharing your details with one independent installer is the entire purpose of the service — this happens when you submit the form. Once shared, that installer processes your details as an independent business under its own privacy obligations. We may receive a fee for this referral.

Service providers. We use providers for hosting, Supabase database/private storage, Stripe payments, transactional email, aggregate analytics and, where required to make the purchased mockups, image-generation or document-production services. They process information for the contracted service and under their applicable privacy terms. We do not make customer room images public.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

5. Legal basis (UK & EU visitors)

We process quote enquiries to take steps at your request before a possible installer contract and for our legitimate interest in operating the referral service. We process paid Ready Pack information because it is necessary to enter and perform our contract with you, to meet accounting/legal obligations and to protect the service from fraud. Optional later-date matching is performed at your request.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and order records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes and meet accounting or legal obligations, then delete or anonymise them. Customer-supplied Ready Pack room images are scheduled for deletion 30 days after delivery unless a correction, refund, chargeback or legal issue requires temporary retention. You can ask us to delete information, subject to records we must retain.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@youraircon.com. UK residents can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete; note that passing your details to the installer you asked to be matched with is done at your direction.

8. Cookies

This website does not currently load advertising pixels or set cross-site advertising cookies. We use Fathom for aggregate site analytics and our hosting, security and payment providers may use strictly necessary technologies to provide their services.

9. Security

Enquiries are transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls. Ready Pack image storage is private rather than publicly listed. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to what the service requires.

10. Children

The service is for adults arranging work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page applies to information collected while it is live.
