1. About YourAirCon

YourAirCon ("we", "us") operates a free quote-matching and referral service and a paid UK Aircon Ready Pack service. A quote enquiry asks us to attempt a match with one independent installation business covering your area. A Ready Pack is a separate personalised planning and visualisation product.

2. What we are — and what we are not

We are not an air conditioning installation contractor. We do not supply, install, service, repair, inspect or supervise systems or building works. Website guidance and Ready Packs are preliminary editorial planning aids. They are not a site survey, final heat-load calculation, technical design, specification, quotation, planning/building-control decision, grant determination or professional advice.

2A. Aircon Ready Pack

The £49 pilot Ready Pack covers one UK residential property and up to two rooms. It includes illustrative mockups, an indicative installed-cost range, stated sizing and pricing assumptions, pre-survey considerations and a project brief. Visuals may use image-generation tools and can contain inaccuracies. An installer must independently confirm equipment capacity and compatibility, unit positions, pipe and drain routes, electrics, access, permissions and price before work.

The delivery target shown at purchase begins after we have both confirmed payment and received usable requested images. If images are unsuitable, we will ask once for replacements. We may refuse and refund a request that cannot be completed responsibly from the submitted information.

2B. Payment, cancellation and refunds

Ready Pack payments are processed by Stripe. The price and scope shown at checkout apply to that order. Personalised work starts only after payment and usable inputs are received. If you ask us to begin during any statutory cancellation period, you request early performance of the personalised service. Your cancellation rights may be affected once the service has been fully performed, but this does not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.

We refund duplicate payments, accepted orders we cannot fulfil and unusable-photo cases that remain unresolved after the replacement request. If we miss the stated delivery target and have not started meaningful personalised work, you may request a refund. Contact hello@youraircon.com with the order reference.

3. Independent installers

Every installer we refer enquiries to is an independent business. Installers are not our employees, agents, subcontractors or partners, and we have no control over their work, scheduling, pricing or conduct. Any survey, quote, contract, warranty or installation is provided solely by the installer. Any contract you enter into is between you and the installer alone — we are not a party to it and are not responsible for its performance.

4. No endorsement or guarantee

Installers must meet certain requirements to join our network (for example holding the certifications and insurance their jurisdiction requires, such as F-Gas certification in the UK or EPA Section 608 certification in the US). However, we do not and cannot guarantee any installer's credentials, availability, workmanship, pricing or compliance at the time of your job. You should verify certifications, licensing and insurance directly with the installer before agreeing to any work, and satisfy yourself that they are suitable.

5. Cost information on this website

Prices, cost ranges and rebate or tax-credit figures published on this website are general market estimates provided for guidance only. They are not quotes or offers, may be out of date, and the price you are quoted by an installer may differ significantly. Always rely on a written quote following a site survey.

6. How we make money

Quote matching is free for customers and we may receive a referral fee from installers. The Ready Pack is paid by the customer at the displayed price. A future installation credit applies only when explicitly offered in writing for a participating installer; it is not included by default.

7. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to submit on your own behalf or with the property owner’s authority, and not to use the service unlawfully. For a Ready Pack, do not upload images containing people, documents, screens, personal photographs, unlawful content or material you do not have permission to share. You remain responsible for obtaining professional advice and approvals before installation.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for work carried out or not carried out by an installer, installer availability, final quotations, permissions or decisions made by relying on a preliminary visualisation or estimate instead of a proper survey. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud or death/personal injury caused by our negligence, and nothing affects statutory consumer rights.

9. Visitors in the United States

The service operates in both the United Kingdom and the United States. If you use the service in the US, references to certification and licensing mean the requirements of your state and federal law (including EPA Section 608), and the installer who contacts you is an independent contractor licensed in its own name.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the service is the version that applies.

11. Governing law

For users in the United Kingdom, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For users in the United States, they are governed by the laws of your state of residence to the extent required by that state's consumer law.
